I’ve used VA loan in the past. But this go around the VA has stepped up their game to meet and or surpassed the competition! Zach and his team were on target with answering questions and getting the documents signed and off. It took only 4 days from the time we found the house we wanted, to loan approval, and acceptance from the seller. Record I’d say! Mission accomplished! Smooth sailing!
I would not work with Veterans United Home Loans again. The loan team was delayed on responses and seemed inconvenienced by having to answer questions I had regarding my loan. Our closing date got pushed out a week the day before the original closing because no one had disclosed that the VA appraisal hadn't been completed. This was not my first home buying experience, but it was definitely the worst and most stressful. The "complimentary" cutting board I received once we moved in did nothing to undo the lack of care and competence I received during the process. The only silver lining were my realtors they assigned me, both for selling and purchasing our homes, they were wonderful, and the only allies I seemed to have. I would have been lost without them.
