Relocating to a new place is already hectic and coming from overseas makes things worse not being on the same page. Make things worse my closing date was delayed due to someone not inputting my correct last two places I lived and I was told my credit was frozen. I called the credit union and the customer service spoke with the loan officer to confirm what I provided was accurate but still delayed until the correct addresses were inputted. I received documents to sign 5 minutes before closing. Nightmare.

Process very long. Too many steps had to be repeated. Communication needed improvement. But i would consider using then again. But as i stated the underwriters were horrible. Very bad

If you are thinking about getting a VA loan give VU a chance, their rates are competitive, they understand the military lifestyle. I had many preapprovals, some for better rates but rates are not everything, customer service is and you will find no better then Veterans Untied.
