The team was pretty easy to work with. I can't say much about "how good" of a loan I got compared to other places because I didn't shop around. What I can speak to is that the team on my loan was very communicative and fast. Jason Bals, Andrea Wiese and Megan Staszcuk were great to work with (if I firgot anyone my apologies).They always got back to me in a timely fashion, talked me off the stree ledge when I reached it during the process and talked me through the things I didn't understand. The app made it pretty easy overall to accomplish everything required of me.I also have to say they do pay attention to the reasons you give for moving LOL! My housewarming gift included an item that told me they were most definitely listening when I voiced one motivating factor in moving. My real estate agent found it hilarious as well and said she'd never seen a lender send a gift like that!My experience going through the loan process was pretty smooth and based on that and the team I had, I would recommend Veterans United for that reason for sure.I will forwarn that if you're looking in less common more rural areas, some of the assistance offered by Veterans United may not be available to you. I'm in a more rural Midwestern area so some of the offered discounts as far as moving resources weren't really something I could use. We're kind of used to that being the case around here though! Anyways! If you're looking for a pretty straightforward process, with a pretty user friendly app, and just want to get things done these guys will definitely help you do that!
