



Buying a home doesn’t HAVE to feel like a business transaction, I learned this most with Veterans United. The team I was connected with all joined me in this process and would check in with me weekly to ensure everything was running smoothly. I never got a machine, not once. I could even text them and they would answer almost immediately or if I wanted to call it was a direct line. Most importantly, I never felt like a business transaction. At all. The way you talk with your team is as if you’re talking to old friends, they joke around with you and make sure you understand that they are happy to be on the phone with you. I’m not sure where Veterans United finds their teams, but they should probably move on to hiring/training the DMV roster maybe...

Veteran’s United has terrible customer service. I was extremely stressed out from the way they communicated with me. Everything was SUPER URGENT and I felt like I had no say in any of the process. The loan team would include me in the group emails, but not use terminology I could understand. I hated the whole experience. Kelly Phillips was an amazing realtor, though. Request her if you can.
