Well I enjoyed the service I still believe that I could have had a better interest rate. The 3.5% was too excessive but it’s better than anything.
I want to give a special thanks to Eric. When I first decided it was time to buy I did not realize what I was getting into with a home purchase. Having cold feet and being green behind the ears, Eric was extremely polite, pleasant, professional, and informative. A lot of the tensions of home buying immediately drifted away. I would totally recommend VU for a home loan great people to work with and they keep everything moving along nicely,alway there for you and to answer any questions you may have.
More communication would have been better. I had to drive a long way from where I live to where I purchased my home and asked to know everything I would need for closing. The extra fee for the radon test could have been discussed and explained but I was surprised and didn’t have my check book because I wasn’t aware I needed it.
Highly recommend for all Veterans out there!
