Earlier this I work with 2 other companies trying to refinance my home and I was so disappointed with them that I almost gave up. But with the help of my daughter she found Veterans United Home Loan and thought they would be the right fit for me. And they sure were. From the very first photo call I knew this was the place that would meet all my needs. They're kind, courteous and helpful. This is where you want to go for exceptional service.

Veterans United knocked it out of the park! As a veteran, it had been many years since I purchased a home and wasn't sure what to expect. My VU Team was Devin Cott (Loan Specialist), Nick Gemming (Lead Loan Coordinator), Ryan Ponder (Loan Officer), and Hayden Salmons (Home Buying Concierge). They were all very responsive and knowledgeable in walking me through each step of the home buying process!Veterans United's customer service is off the charts! Makes me want to work for them! Love my socks, personalized blanket, and t-shirt!If you're a veteran and in the market for a new home, I wouldn't use anyone else!

Sometimes I would have additional questions for Jerry Simons, and he was always available to answer my questions and put my mind at ease to calm me down when there was no need for me to worked up (trust the process). The pitch of his voice was professionally monoton, clear, and precise. He was pleasant to listen to, follow, and easy to speak with. He informed me of when would leave the office for the day or the weekend. if I had more questions or concerns then Taylor Fruits was available to me when he wasn't around and she took care of making sure that I knew exactly what was currently due and also assisted in getting those documents uploaded for review. My team was great! and those behind the seen promptly reviewed what we provided to them and quickly acknowlegded and updated the required list of documents. This process was a smooth and it went on without a hitch (no issue nor unforeen problem on my end, or VU) and it ended with a professional and successful closing. We are diffinately recommending him to our friends and family. Thank you for a very good experience with the refinance (major investment) of our home.
He continued to check in with us during the entire process even when no ducments were needs to assure us that behind the seen the team is moving forward (trust the process). He answered our 101 questions and did so without showing any signs or announance or irritation and treated our questions with respect. Thank you.The Cooney Family

My wife and I couldn't be happier with the level of service rendered by the VU team. Would, and WILL, recommend Sarah to our inner military circle.

I was never contacted by the concierge. No one ever followed up with me to make sure that closing went well, and there was a delay due to veterans United not having the proper information sent to the title company when closing. I don’t have specifics on what the delay was, the title company came in and apologized several times for the delay due to information not being prepared. Also, I was told there was no more follow up paperwork and was sent an email at 4 AM the day of closing or several documents to sign. I checked my email on a whim that morning and luckily cut that before I went to close.
Response from Veterans United
Hi Aaron, thank you for your open and honest feedback. Providing clear and effective communication is a top priority, and a member of our Client Advocate team is available to discuss your experience in greater detail. Myself and the seller of my new home were both VUHL customers and we were able to complete this sale/purchase together without any realtor involvement due to Chris' expertise and assistance.

My team were highly motivated in getting my new home for me. They made me feel very welcome and very courteous. I would definitely would recommend them.

The experience could not have been any better

To many people asking for the same thing, usually more than once, and often more than one request for the same document at once. Based on my credit ability to buy, I thought six weeks would be more than enough time for approval, I was wrong. Veterans United could not get my mortgage done in time for scheduled closing. I spoke with everyone available at the company, including a lady who told me there was no one above her, no one could help
Response from Veterans United

We do not take responsibility for third-party actions, and we understand how important it is to discuss these scenarios. We also understand how it can be frustrating when unexpected delays occur. Our commitment to serving you is ongoing and we are glad that parts of the experience were positive. It is our goal to improve, so please do not hesitate to contact us if you wish to discuss things further.
