Veterans United provided complete service, far better than I would have expected from any lender. They hhave processes which make reviewing and signing a multitude of documents easy and effort free. My personal representative was always available, returned phone calls, and guideed mee through any item I did not understand. Innformation flow back and forth to my closing attorneys was smooth. VU should not limit itself to what appears to be limited resources. The underwriting was absolutely worrisome, and obnoxious to me. Even once paperwork asked for was submitted, it wasn't enough they bothered me for more of questions that had been answered. Alternate underwriting should be available. I didn't appreciate my interest rate increasing after a short span of settling on house, and the only reason I'm given is, it's the market. I absolutely believe it was due to purchase price reduction no matter what yall say. Also VU should be willing to price, or loan match once a prospective offer has been shown, & that is without an actual signing with another competitor. If a competitor supplies a prospective offer, on legal letter head mind you, that should be proof enough. All n all, you've taken a chance on me, & as God strengthen me, I will make sure you don't regret ur decision.
