It was scary at first, my husband and I were clueless about home buying. Veterans united team and our real estate agent helped us out every step of the way. We’re so happy with our first new home. Highly recommend them.
We would like to mention Katie West and James Curry who helped guide is through all the extra assistance we need from how to get connected to home insurance to turning on power and water. James helped with advise to boost our credit score! We had an awesome team at Veterans United!
Was a stressful experience however I am extremely grateful I got this team. Already trying to recommend them and I will be bringing my business back here in the future!
This will never end up on a reviews page and defiantly not be on a commercial but, my experience started so strong with VU an by the end of it I didn't even want to buy the house anymore. Never again.

I want to tha know Allie and her team for going above and beyond during my home buying experience.
I loved how attentive my team was for a first time home buyer they really showed why they are the number 1 lender for Vets.
Great one-stop shop for a VA loan. Very easy.
I appreciate everything you guys done for me.. being a single dad with a questionable credit history you guys put in the work and got everything done.. thank you so much
This has been a Rollercoaster, thank you for your patience and understanding of the unique characteristics of my industry.
Outstanding
I truly appreciate the support yall gave me and my family. You were stellar
Everything with the team was great. Aside from the underwriter getting really picky about things that required us to submit the same forms multiple time, I enjoyed working with VU!
I have put a lot of thought into if I was going to write this review as I was very frustrated with the way our file was handled. There was poor communication about our loan process. We made it very clear from the beginning that all parties wanted to close early. There was no communication on where our loan was or explanation about anything. At one point when we reached out for an update the response we got from Jackie was “We are going as fast as we can.” This was the same response given to our realtor when we asked for an update. We were able to get docs in within 5 minutes of being requested EVERYTIME, yet you underwriters were caught up not knowing what payroll taxes are. It is extremely concerning that in this industry they don’t understand basic liabilities business owners have. I’m curious what these employees think happens to the deductions from each paycheck. The employer does need to send those to the IRS. This held up our loan for 2 weeks which is ridiculous. When we initially started the process we were told 30 days. It took longer. Once we were put into closing we were told Wednesday or Thursday the following week. We made plans accordingly. When we received the update on Wednesday there was no communication about an expected closing date. Then Thursday we were told it would be Monday. This caused me to need to utilize my only 2 remaining vacation days. This could have been avoided had Britney reached out to Lennar title on Tuesday instead of sitting on her hands until Wednesday causing the closing to be delayed. She told us she did not even attempt contact with them on Tuesday. We offered to reach out and she said she had it. These issues continued into the signing on Monday. The document from this company came in at the last minute. There was no communication from Veterans that the signer would need to sign said document. Britney knew the seller had already signed all her docs. We were almost delayed even further due to a lack of communication on the process Veterans has. As a lender myself I feel this was very unprofessional. There were multiple things with our uploaded docs that were not communicated to us, but I knew because I am in the industry such as signing our P&Ls. I feel Veterans need to assess the docs they request on the 1st request based on the type of business someone owns. Maybe some training for underwriters to understand how businesses operate. This process was ridiculous..

Randolph, it is important to us that we work hard to provide excellent service and we realize that the home buying process can become stressful at times. While we cannot make up for the experience you had, it is important we acknowledge and address what you've shared as communication remains a top priority. We realize that the home buying process can become time consuming when working to gather the required documentation and how it can feel to resolve numerous underwriting requests. Licensed Underwriters comply with VA regulations as well as internal and external guidelines to ensure loans are properly documented. Balancing with our third party partners can also be a time challenge and we are sorry if that caused any undue delays. While Veterans United does not have direct control over the actions of third party providers, it is important that we work together to promote resolution for you. We appreciate your point of view and understand how it can be frustrating when unexpected delays occur. Thank you for sharing your experience so that we might learn and improve where to strengthen our process.
