Since we were in a push to be in the home by 12/30/19 for tax purposes, they were able to get the house closed on 12/23/2019 fulfilling our needs. Later Daniel dropped and email about Interest rates going down. We chose to refinance the home and dropped our payment to make the move worthwhile. Once again the whole process was smooth and easy that it was a great decision. This was the most amazing experience ever! This is my first home (I BOUGHT A HOUSE, YA'LL!! Crazy!!) so I did not know one thing about what I was getting myself into. But from my very first phone call-day ONE-I immediately felt really good about it.Loan Specialist Anthony Banks was my initial point of contact. He helped me get prequalified so my husband and I could start looking at houses. During the pandemic and because of social distancing, you can only put an offer in if you're prequalified for a loan. Banks took care of us with the quickness! I swear when he called back to tell me that we were approved he delivered the news like we were family-just genuinely happy for us! That was such an awesome feeling. He's a good dude and dang ray of sunshine! I was always in a noticeably better mood when I got off the phone with him!Lindsay Genay, our realtor, is AMAZING!!!! She was so compassionate and professional, and helpful, and kind, and generous with her time. I love that it never felt like we were just another client she had to close a deal with-we were a priority. That's a really good feeling when you're going through such a arduous process. I canNOT say enough wonderful things about him! If I didn't know any better I would have thought we were his only clients; he responded to emails faster than I can tie my shoes! Again, this being our first foray into home ownership, we had a TON of questions and concerns, and he made every question feel important and valid. He worked so tirelessly to get us here. We could not have done this without him! I am so impressed by the level of diligence exerted by Terry and his team! Forever grateful.

We were very disappointed with the appraisal company that was chosen in our area. The closing could have happened several days (more like 2 weeks) sooner had the appraiser not held onto the report for 16 days after it was completed. This delay caused us to spend quite a bit of money to stay in 2 AirBNB's and the Motel 6.
The group at Veterans United that I worked with did an excellent job of walking me through the process, answered all of my questions, and kept me informed of what was next in each step. I also got a great interest rate on my loan. Highly recommend them.
