I would say make sure the buyer (applicant) knows what the total cost of things are during the process such as paying for closing cost, appraisal, and other fees. I think a common courtesy is to explain the money that the buyer will have to pay during the entire process and also explain the loan estimate items so it doesn’t surprise someone.
I plan on having all homes I purchase go through Veterans United.
Overall a good process was good and the loan was approved and closed. All the staff were friendly and all my questions were answered along the way.

The VU process wasn't as convoluted as I thought it would've been.
As a first time homebuyer I had no clue what I was doing. Veterans United never left a question unanswered. They were able to walk me through every step. I if had a question no matter the time I always received a response promptly. I would most definitely us Veterans United again!
I would have loved to have been able to modify and sign more papers electronically.
Overall VU did a great job. I thought Kim was cool as well. I liked that she really kept me on track when it came to the things on my to-do list and checked up with me if I was slow in turning things in. She cracked the whip, kept me on track and got things done! Thanks Kim!
