Rodrigo, thanks for keeping us in the loop and for sharing your experience. We understand the stress involved when an unexpected complication delays a home closing. While there are aspects of the loan process that can only take place once all conditions have been satisfied; it is important that we take all feedback into account and look for ways to promote an excellent customer experience.
I slammed Underwriting because this is the fifth time in my life that I have bought a house and I have never experienced anything close to the excessive and drawn out analysis I was put through. Another complaint I have is that we asked to have the house titled in our trust. We sent a copy of the trust to them, and they wanted our lawyer to draw up more documents. We did this (at a cost of $250) and submitted them. Weeks later underwriting said they couldn't put the title inn irrevocable trust. Fine, would have been nice to know that 2 weeks and $250 sooner.
