Veteran's United is most certainly a family friendly organization, supporting active duty and veteran families. I would be happy to use them again. My only recommendation for others is to not be hard and fast on your closing date, as the company is at the mercy of their contracted appraiser's and the process can't move forward if that gets backed up. Our closing date was pushed back (thankfully only by 1 day) as a result of an appraiser not submitting necessary items after many attempts at contacting the company. My only recommendation is to remain flexible while working with this company and you'll have a great experience!
Everyone was very friendly and professional. They made the loan process go as fast as possible. They even check in on you while you are searching for the perfect property. They are patient and understanding with any and all questions that you may have.
