Alberto, Stephanie and Sarah were all very helpful and easy to work with, although it was not always clear what their specific roles were other than Alberto was overall in charge of my loan application. I did get frustrated with the back/forth with the Underwriters and their recurring request for additional information. This included last minute requests for information after I had already been cleared for closing. And waiting three hours after I signed all my documents at the closing for them to "approve" everything on your end was not helpful.

Jake Force was absolutely wonderful in guiding my wife and I through the entire process. Veterans United was so much easer to communicate with than the 2 major military oriented credit unions and I would highly recommend them to my friends and family.The VU website and portal are east to use and I appreciated the “to do” feature which helped my wife and I stay on track and move forward in the loan process.


I would never recommend Veterans United my experience here was a Horrible.

Unfortunately the movers recommended was very expensive considering the fact that I did get the appropriate break down until the end of the move. What I had to pay was I did expect to pay for a local move with approximately 7-12 mile radius travel time. Other than that, it was a successful move.

The process of getting a loan was amazing all my questions were answered. The staff is very knowledgeable, and professional at all times.

Stephen and his team provided an outstanding home buying experience. This whole process can be overwhelming at times, but they were gracious and helpful every step of the way. The myvu portal provided a streamlined and organized access point for everything involved with the loan process. With a document database and personalized objectives, I had everything I needed in one place including information for setting up utilities and movers.

Went well last time. Critical process failures this time, but they ultimately stood by their work and made it right. In some ways this is more telling. Every organization has hiccups, not every organization has integrity.

Awesome isn’t enough to explain Lance, his team, or anyone else at Veterans United! Everyone on the team were all on the same page, even down to the minute of big time decisions relating to closing. I had Lance close a loan for me getting into my first home 4 years ago and he knocked it out of the park so obviously the only team I could trust to land me into my family’s forever home was Lance and his crew. That’s exactly what they did and I can’t thank them enough or explain how great of a team they have. 10/10. 5/5 stars. If a 20% tip is what I could give them, I’d give them 110% because they give nothing less than that. I can’t speak higher of Lance and everyone on the team and I’d recommend Veterans United to anybody I know! I’ve used them before and if I need any assistance relating to my home in the future, I know exactly where to go.
