Please be sure your loan officers have the tools they need and that they use them to guide their clients though the home buying process without an attitude. Most veterans that use this are most likely first time buyers and are not familiar with the process. More guidance and and patience and understanding would have been appreciated. This was a lot of money and a big commitment, it was just not a great experience. My family is very easy going and do not take this personal. It was just a bad look with the lack of support we received we gathering documentation. Our date was pushed back over a month due to the wrong information being collected. Even with the multiple attempts of requesting, no guidance was given from our assigned loan officer.

While we are thrilled that we were able to navigate some difficult terrain on the road to closing, it sounds like your experience overall was rocky. Often times, to ensure you are able to move forward on the home you choose, we will provide a PAL with contingences such as providing your Certificate of Eligibility. We were able to base your letter on what was stated and needed to submit the rest to the VA. We understand the importance of clear and concise communication especially when requesting exactly what was needed per the VA and we hope that our calls and emails aided in that understanding. Once received, we sent it in to the VA and was provided with the necessary document. It is our goal to guide you every step of the way and make the process seem as easy as possible.
