We loved how easy it was to do this. The entire team was so helpful and they explained things so well. This is our first home and they made the experience so easy. Our anxiety didn't like the wait for the clear to close but we still had a great experience with the V.U. team!
It was nice to be able to complete the process online, however, it seemed like once the checklist items were complete, additional added, several times, which extended the process. It took longer then I expected and required more information then what I provided on a previous refi. I questioned why some items of information were required since it had nothing to do with the refi, i.e., "How much were my FOP dues?" I became frustrated and almost stopped the process a couple of times when information was requested that wasn't on the checklist. I did complete the process and my wife and I signed the final papers last week. The loan was funded and the extra money requested as deposited in a very timely manner into my account. I would recommend Veteran's United to others.
