I never though I would be a homeowner, but after longtime consideration, I decided to buy a house. My hesitation was a combination of the magnitude of the investment and the challenge of navigating through the process with confidence. It was just an overwhelming experience which I had never lived before.
Today, I can say that buying my dream house was pleasantly unforgettable. It was a experience filled with ups and downs, but I learned that my Veterans United team always had my back. Sam Yoo was always there to answer my questions about the process, and to even give me some advise when I needed it the most. Basically, they made me feel I was not left alone or without help.
I will always be thankful for the service he and his team provided me with. They were professional but most importantly very approachable, and despite the house was a new construction that took months to finish, the process was smooth and settlement was done on time as schedule.
Confidently, I highly recommend Veterans United and anyone having Sam as his loan specialist would be the luckiest person.

I would highly recommend using VU for any veteran looking to buy a home. I’ve heard horror stories when it comes to buying homes and those made me nervous. The team I was assigned at VU made it a streamlined process while keeping me highly informed the entire time. Will use again!

It was great been told what is needed, pending and able to talk to my team through the process whenever I had any type of question, they would answer them and find the information that applied to me
I recommend Veterans United to Veteran who plans on buying a home in the future. The website is full of helpful videos to help first time home buyers understand the process and what is expected. I also liked using the mortgage calculator and other expense tools that helped me understand my budget and what I could afford. Very professional staff and everyone is very friendly. If you are looking for a lender who will have your back day and night through your home buying process, Veterans United is the way to go!
I would not recommend Veterans United if you are a stickler for attention to detail, because you will be disappointed. Mistakes were made even after they were pointed out. Also be aware that they limit their cashout refi to 90% while many others will allow 100%.
