Being across the country buying a house does not make the process easy especially when you are in school as well. The lack of communication was ridiculous and the amount of phone calls that I had to make to have something explained was terrible. You should be calling the buyer to make sure they understand the process thoroughly and that they understand the paperwork that you are sending them. The closing costs fluctuated anywhere from 500 to 1700 and I am still unsure as to why. When I called to have paperwork explained I could hardly get ahold of the team and the same was said for others trying to get ahold of them. When I finally got ahold of someone they said “call us if you have any questions”. I am not a fan of this and think that YOU need to call the customer 1: to let them know you are sending paperwork and 2: to let them know what exactly they are signing and break it down for them. I have still yet to receive a phone call from the “Team” to make sure that the closing went well. I do not recommend this company and will not be back for my next home purchase. We were very excited but ended the process being extremely stressed out.

Allen, we appreciate your feedback on this matter. A member of our Client Advocate team has attempted to reach you and we invite you to connect with us further. Our team will be researching your comments to determine what our team may do in the future to help prevent a similar misunderstanding. The process for disclosing the costs of a loan is managed very closely. We understand how relying on estimates for a portion of the home buying process can seem inconsistent or make it difficult to trust the process.
Very greatful and blessed to have such a great loan/ mortgage for first time buyers
Give these guys a call. You will not regret it. For my first time buying, we went through a unique situation that landed us in a bad spot due to no fault of Vet United. Dave walked us through and kept in touch with us every step of the way. If I had ANY questions, Dave and his team were there to answer. Thank you guys so much.

Great job in helping and answering questions
Very easy process, didn’t really have to do anything, they did it all for us!!!
We found that Veteran’s United was on top of everything to do with our Veteran’s loan. It was a pleasure working with the entire team.

Since the first day Kedric told me. I will help you with you re-finance process. And he did an outstanding job. Great service and attitude. He went the extra mile in providing legendary customer service. I will definitely recommend
you'll sell my loan to someone else so this is pointless. I will never recommend the company to any veteran or active duty service member. I would have gotten relieved of duty if I had not communicated with my unit the way I had to continuetofollow-up.
the I don't know anwsers of has my loan been funded to get keys for my residence over 27hrs is unacceptable especially during a HHG move. Shame on you for putting additional stress on an already stressful time. Particularly when we have exceptional credit in the 800s.

Thank you for this feedback Brian. A member of our Client Advocate Team is available to discuss additional details, questions or concerns. We understand how the home buying process can get stressful, especially when costs are estimated throughout the loan process. While we cannot change the experience you had we want to ensure that no other Veterans have this same experience in the future. Discussing your experience and learning how we might look to improve is part of our commitment to provide outstanding customer service.
