I would go with a local mortgage company. You will be able to come and go to receive info , and get things moving faster.

It appears that there were too many people touching our loan documentation who were removed from the overall process and the concerns/issues.Our Loan Specialist was doing all he could to resolve the address/appraisal issues, but other entities within the organization were not addressing our issue with the same level of urgency.

The agent we used to sell our house was not very good, he wanted to sell at a lower price, and after we had an agreement, instead of helping us get the most out of our house he assisted the buyer more than us. Also anytime I needed I had to call him for assistance.
