I feel that overall, Veteran's united waited until the very last second to do everything when it came to my loan. The night before they were trying to verify my husband's employment, which gave us a heart attack after being nearly 3 weeks past our initial closing date because they waited until the last minute to ask for everything else. Customer service is a ZERO, they were really only responsive after numerous calls and emails. I know they habve may other buyers and that the world does not revolve around me, but it certainly should feel like they care and it doesn't. Additionally, they were not responsive to my realtor. If it were not for our extreme willingness to move this along, I probably would not have closed before the end of the summer with all of the hurdles. This is no way to treat a veteran or their family, and it is very clear that many of these employees are not vets because they do not know how to get stuff done at an appropriate timeframe or at least calm down very upset CUSTOMERS. If I was this bad at my job, I would have been let go by now. This is completely unacceptable.
