Response from Veterans United

My realtor, her team at redfin, and the title company were raving how amazing, fast, efficient, and overall what a pleasure it was working with this lender. Seriously, they brought it up a lot at closing and after. It felt cool to have them brag about how my lender made everything run so smoothly and had the funding go through faster than they have ever had it done, especially on a Friday! 🥰🥰🥰💞
Philip makes all aspects of the process effortless. From start to finish, it’s a breeze! We will continue to recommend Philip and his team and look forward to using them for all of our needs. Job well done!
Veteran United really made being a1st time home buyer a great experience. Our loan team, Mystle & Amanda, and our Realtor, Kerry, truly made this process seem simple. They answered ALL our questions and then some. They made sure we knew what was going on and when and how much. We have already recommended Veteran United to all our friends and family!
We had used Veteran United twice first to purchase our home and now to refinance our home, both experiences were great, they treat you with respect, and put dedication to your case, they contact you constantly and answer all your questions. They are great at what they do.
At first they were great then as days dragged into weeks and weeks that dragged into months the experience kept getting worse and worse. They will ask you for information, you provide exactly what they ask for and then they will tell you they can’t use it. One person says they can use it the other says they can’t use it. They are all in different chapters of different play books. Even up to the “clear to close” it was awful! A VERY VERY stressful experience. They will lie about things that were supposed to be done that didn’t get done and they will tell you it did. They will try to make you look like you are the one that is holding up the process when it is actually them. They definitely are not familiar with monthly banking statements and that a monthly banking statement only batches ONCE a month. You can print it all day long but it will only batch once a month. They will give you incorrect information.
Their communication skills lack. They do not keep all involved informed about where they are in the process. They would not return my agents calls or emails
The seller almost placed our house back on the market for their inability to get their work done in a timely and efficient manner. They changed our closing date so many times and drug their feet for so long that the seller wanted us to get a new lender. The seller and her agent picked a date and expressed that “if we do not close by this date we will demand the buyer get a new lender or we will be placing the house back on the market”. The seller, selling agent, the title company, the buyers agent and the buyer all will NEVER recommend this company. Both listing and buyer agents will not take on clients that have this company for their lenders.
It is supposed to be a happy and exciting occasion when you close on a new home. It was anything but that. The experience was “I just want this nightmare/hell to be over and done with. I am so sick of this”!
The service was TOP NOTCH!! I highly recommend Veterans United.
Fellow Veterans...I absolutely recommend working with Veterans United. Just be clear in your intent, and ask or voice any and all of your questions or concerns along your homebuying process. And whatever information the team at Veterans United asks you to provide, work through providing it as quickly and efficiently as you possibly can. With that, you will likely, based on my experience, get to the finish line, successfully! Good Luck Vets!
Veterans United got my mortgage to closing in a shortened time period that others said would be impossible.
