VU was amazing in purchasing my first home. I would recommend them to everyone.
I give Veterans United my highest recommendation! They are an absolute best organization in this industry. Great rates, amazing staff, and customer friendly. I will be a lifetime customer and will return to VU for any future purchases!
I have wanted to ask the sellers a few questions about the house just minor things at the closing they didn't show up. I didn't receive my keys at closing. I had to go to my new home and the keys were in a lock box. It took me over a hour to finally get inside my new home. I think handing over the keys to the new owner speaks volumes. That process should happen. Other than that the process was very smooth.
My experience was amazing!! I suggest have everything in order and respond back timely to receive the best possible service!

I was exceptionally pleased with the services I received from the staff of Veteran's United; however, because the title company didn't process my documents in a timely manner, I received my funds on a Monday instead of the Friday I expected.
Our home buying experience was superb. We didn’t have any hiccups, and we closed on our original closing date with no delays.
The team at Veterans Home Loans under Kelly Stephens was very professional and a pleasure to deal with. They always had my best interest in buying my new home which went smooth. Also Jaclyn Flanagan who was my loan processor was very caring, kind and professional. I just can't say enough great things about this team and buying my new home. If your a Veteran like I am and your wanting to buy a home, Veterans United is the only way to go for that home loan.
In 2008, I went through a financial "perfect storm". At the onset of the Great Recession, I went through an extremely costly divorce. As a man who had always done business on a handshake, and whose word is his bond, it was personally devastating, humiliating time. I spent the next decade-plus restoring my career, my credit rating, and my optimism.Fast forward to 2020. I knew that putting equity into a home often makes more financial sense than continuing to rent does. However, I believed that rent-to-own was the only option left for me to ever own a home. I quickly discovered that rent-to-own houses are practically nonexistent in my area. I knew in my heart, and by reading my credit score, that I had done my part. I was back to creditworthiness, and had been for several years. But I also knew that second chances do not always come.In the spring of 2021, while searching for rent-to-own properties in my area, I came across a Veterans United link on a real estate listing. A few clicks later, I learned that maybe, just maybe, I could qualify for a loan.It gets better. Turns out that not only do I qualify for a mortgage, I also qualify for VIP treatment throughout the process, to include a personal concierge, (not kidding), to help guide me through the moving process. That is how Veterans United operates. They're a competent, courteous, team of high-performance professionals, and they are at your service."So what's the catch?"There isn't one, period. If you wore our country's uniform, and you need a place to call home, it costs you nothing to reach out to Veterans United and get the facts.
My wife and I had highly recommend Veterans United to anyone with their mortgage needs. The company is there at every step of the mortgage process with any questions or concerns. In addition, we love the concierge service Veterans United provides with insurance, moving companies and security systems.
Good group no problem.
