Being a Marine Veteran and Nick also being Marine Veteran himself we instantly had that “esprit de corps” to get the mission accomplished. The loan team stuck with me even when the pandemic was in full swing, and they did their best to make the process as simple as possible since I was starting a new job and was very busy at the time. They also ensured I had the best realtor possible, as well as check in regularly to make sure they were helping us adequately.Overall I will definitely be using Veterans United in the future when I move again.
Home buying can be very stressful, but working with Veterans United took away a lot of that stress. The team really cares about their clients, they were on top of all that needed to be accomplished and were very quick and knowlegable when responding to questions. Even though it took about 7 months to close on our new house and had many challenges along the way the team never sounded down or discouraged. In addition to all that, after our loan was approved our Loan Officer sent some very nice wine glasses as an early house warming gift. Working with Veterans United has truly been a white glove experience!

These guys were better than my previous loans when I worked with other lenders and bought houses. VU was streamlined and they didn’t badger for documents repeatedly. Their underwriting was solid, without the hassle. Overall very good experience with VU.

Blake was awesome! He was very knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process.
While this purchase did go through, I had one other that fell through, I know this was from the va appraisal and evaluation, which was absolutely absurd. Unfortunately during that purchase I never felt like veterans united was in my corner to help fight for the correct information. There was very little help in regards to reasoning with the VA and ultimately the much larger sale fell through. While I may use veterans united again if I need to I will never use the VA loan again, it is an absolute nightmare to jump through and may as well be useless to many of us who served. Disgraceful, but that's what I expect from the VA.
For me it was not a good experience but may be better for you
