Katie tried to sell me an inferior loan product, and the two customer advocates I spoke to made excuses, failed to deliver in their promises for follow-through, and used delaying my closing as a scare tactic. This company fought so hard to keep me from learning about the better loan on the table that it's hard to believe it wasn't intentional. If I were less persistent, or less financially literate, VU would have happily kept an extra $2K of my life savings.

First of all, even though wechanged plans VU kept our file active and updated. Secondly we were directed on what steps to take and when to take them. When we hit some particularly tricky stages, We were given several options to assist us in proceeding to the next step. Besides financial and procedural advice, the team was encouraging and patient.

Being able to communicate by phone, text, and email was helpful. The realtor we had was not as communicative or proactive as I was used to. Kelsey was quick to take my calls and help me through the process. I had never spoke directly with the lender side as much in previous transactions and appreciate the time the team took to help us with this process.
