It was my first home and they were amazing. Handled any problem quickly and professionally.

The work that Tom Welek, Dennis Hill and Laurie Elkes along with the entire team did to make our VA home loan process go smoothly and flawlessly was the 100% spot on. They made it happen in less than 30 days. It was amazing. I would highly recommend them to any and all service members and veterans. I thought it was going to take alot of red tape but just the opposite. Hats off to Veterans United Home Loans. Thank you for all your help.James Huhn

It seemed like everything was going well until the day before closing, when we found out that VU hadn't prepared the closing documents correctly. They didn't have correct taxes for Alaska, and they showed that I would get back a lot of money. That money didn't come back to me. They took numbers from the initial offer that was not accepted. They hadn't even read the counter offer. On top of it all, they charged a full 1% origination which almost no one does anymore. They were hard to contact and I almost had to push back my closing day. They caused me a lot of undue stress leading up to a day that should have been exciting for me, as a first time homebuyer.

Veteran United is the easiest way to get a VA LOAN and refinance. Never would I have thought it would be these easy.

Tyvm amazing team

If you are older, you should be able to easily maneuver through the great Website they created for the process easily. The "do to" list is wonderful. Your loan will progress quickly as you are guided through emails and calls with your loan specialist. I would highly recommend them.

Everything was excellent customer service wise. However, the appraisal process still takes far too long. Veterans could still be losing out on quality properties because it takes 10 days for an appraisal to occur and everything depends on the appraisal coming back at or above purchase price. This timeframes needs to be cut down to 5 business days or preferably less.

The opening stages of the process where great and i have no Complaints but the underwriter and the Transaction Coordinator where horrible. ID wasn't anything on my end sadly. My paperwork was submitted the day they asked for anything and We make over 100k so money wasn't an issue either. The Transaction Coordinator just seemed like she had better things do do and was late on everything. She order the VA Appraisal late which caused a delay in my closing 2 weeks, the she was late with turning over documents. The Transaction Coordinator and underwriters where also messing up documents so my closing was delayed almost 5 hours.

Auston, Thank you for submitting a survey on how your loan process had gone. We want to take time to ensure that our underwriters are the most proficient when reviewing loans in the process. They must be completely thorough in the process and follow government guidelines as well. Depending on the state this may cause delays. We want to let you know that although your closing was delayed, we at Veterans United will always be forthcoming and honest when it comes to our clients and veterans. We appreciate again taking time out of your schedule to submit this information. We would also like to congratulate you and your family on your new home and endeavor.
