I put Louie Nieman through hell until this ordeal was over.
It was Louie that got me the loan. He worked on my application for hours in his office and away from his office.
I called at early morning hours and late at night, not knowing where he was.

From start to finish in the loan process, I was extremely impressed. Having worked with other lenders in the past (even during this loan process), I can tell you that Veterans United is definitely a cut above the rest! After all, I did end up going with Veterans United and thought the last lender was great. Sorry other lender, but you didn’t even come close!

Overall experience was very good. Being able to submit online forms was very helpful. One suggestion would be to provide all items in "To-Do" checklist at very beginning of process. There were a few rounds of needing to go back to submit additional information, some of which could have been included in the initial list of items. Not a big inconvenience, just a suggestion.

Exceptionally fast, and great at what they do. I couldn’t have asked for a smother process.


From start to finish, we were very pleased with how Dan Kelley handled our home loan. With all the paperwork requirements he was able to keep us on track and we closed on the day we requested. Adrienne Smith is an asset too.
