I would stay clear of using Veterans Untied Realtors. I had two very bad experiences with two very bad realtors for a sale and purchase.
I will use them for all my future home purchases
I would say that the rates offered by Veterans Umited were the major reason we went with them. I found the proceasing was a bit cumbersome and felt disorganized at times with multiple request strings to navigate the underwriting phase which cost us money with a last minute well test request. It almost seems like they offer a very gracious prequalification and then shift the burden for meeting it to us instead of basing it on knowledge before hand. Overall the people we dealt with were good, but no one ever answers your calls. Its always leave a message amd they call you back. The process needs refined I think to make it less knee jerk feeling along the way. This is my most process intensive mortgage of three in the last 20 years.

I understand there's many things that go into buying a home.With that said, my only issue that I had was with The underwriter. She caused lots of frustration on our end to the point where we were uncertain of the outcome & made us rethink about using VHU in the future.
We submited all necessary docs 3 weeks before closing with no issues...The underwriting person waited 3 days prior to closing to flag an auto loan that ultimately had no cause. They created an unnecessary stressful issue for us. In the end, D. Fritz was able to make it right....THANKS!Additionly our realtor was A+++++ Couldn't have asked for a better agent, thanks Cindy!
Veteran’s United is overall a great company, they have a very knowledgeable team and work hard to get everything done in a timely manner. The underwriting process was stressful but not overwhelming.
Interest rates are a little high, but excellent service

I can not recommend Veterans United enough. I'm glad a co-worker recommend them to me and I've let multiple others know how great it was to work with Veterans United.
They take care of all veterans and are very appropriative. They helped me throughout the entire process without any setbacks. They’ll go out of their way to make sure you are approved for the highest loan possible to make sure your success.
Just need to stay on top of them as closing date is expected.
Overall, great experience with VU!
