All services provided by VU was outstanding. Only improvement that should be considered is lessons learned from closing remotely. The notary that was contracted to ensure our closing documents failed. At our initial signing meeting, she failed to clarify that my wife needed to sign, causing her to return a couple hours later for my wife to sign. Then we were made aware the next day that there were several pages of the closing documents that still required initials from my wife , this resulted in us receiving overnighted documents and signing and resending overnight to complete the closing process and release proceeds to the seller. I received constant pressure to expedite this correction. This was extremely inconvenient as we were also in middle of packing and relocating to new state of residence.
The team at Veteran's United handled this process quickly, simply and most importantly, with care. Going into this process blind gave me nothing but anxiety and worry over all of the other homebuying horror stories I have heard over the years. I am glad to say that when sharing my experience with others, I will have nothing but praise when speaking about Jason, Jean and the entire Veteran's United team that helped me find the place to raise my family. Wow. New credit score requirement ,only 600 now. You veterans that were turned down last year should try again. 3 weeks ,I'm in a new house.

They work to find the best options available for the Veterans who they support. The team stayed in touch with us continuously after the first loan closed. Whether it is the loan itself, home insurance, or even bringing under our vehicles under the insurance umbrella with our home, the VU team tracks it all for the long term. They don't bring the loan to closure and forget the clients. They show it is a long term relationship and stay in touch. We won't go anywhere else.
