I tried three other lenders prior to Veterans United. None were willing to work with me. VU granted preapproval very quickly and I began looking. I had a short timeline due to my landlord selling the house I was renting, but VU was able to get everything done in time. Veterans United is a good route to take especially when taking the route of VA home loan. Be aware though, and patient, because there are additional steps that are required for purchasing a house with VA backing. Taking a step, then having to wait for the next step, is nothing new to any of us.
