Seems like underwriting always needed one more document or one more thing to accomplish and it dragged the process out too long. I would rather just have the long list provided at the start so we could complete it quickly.Not sure of the truth, but we heard that conventional funding is much quicker than VA and a seller may opt to go with a conventional buyer over a VA buyer. If this is true, you must figure out a way to make VA funding quicker.
I was able to buy a house while working a travel job with minimal stress. I refinanced the house without lifting a finger during a global pandemic and for better or for worse, came out on top.

It took 3 months to close and 2 days before we closed they requested I pay over a thousand dollars which I had no idea about before when I complained that I should have been told before Devon offered to cancel the money requested by them.
