Veterans United made the ENTIRE process of buying OUR home incredibly smooth! Honestly, if I had known that VU made it this easy, I would've started the process sooner!! Highly recommend for anyone trying to purchase a home, use Veterans United!!
My Loan Officer could have been a little more proactive and I feel that there was unneeded stress added to the loan process due to delays that could have been avoided by requesting certain things more toward the beginning of the loan process and not 4 days from closing. If your bank has trouble connecting to their system like mine did, ask if a VOD can be requested from the bank ASAP. My Loan Coordinater Kelly was fantastic!

During these tough times with COVID-19 the title company's mobile notary had cancelled our scheduled closing. However with the effort of Veterans United Home Loans adapting and overcoming that obstacle we were able to get another notary to help who actually works at Veterans United Home Loans but in a different capacity. It speaks volumes of the dedication of this company to make it happen even when faced with a pandemic. So again I thank Darrick Brown, Adrienne Smith, and especially Tamica Slenker for going above and beyond, even outside her normal role to help a veteran.

My experience with Veterans United Home Loans was without a doubt one of the best and smoothest I have had purchasing a home. I have owned eight homes throughout my life, two of them using my VA loan benefit. This purchase was the easiest and smoothest of any. My loan team was great. They were always available to answer my questions and guide me through the process. Everything went as planned, we even closed earlier than expected. My realtor and closing attorney were also impressed and commented how this was the smoothest and easiest VA loan thay had ever been involved in.
