I was told at the beginning of this process that since I had just recently retired from civil service (31 January 2020) and my package had not yet been adjudicated to show a correct earnings that it wouldn't be a problem since what I would be making is available on the OPM website by Jason Bals your representative. So with that being said we decided to go with him. Told him all of our assets (Thrift Savings, 401k's, Roth's, etc.), current home value being sold, etc. Throughout this process he kept telling us we can't get to the closing table without it my retirement LES after telling us to get our business that we wouldn't have any problems. This was falsehood #1. The second falsehood was the home we were buying had some issues with the water testing. His office got the test results the same day we did on 24 March and they sat on them and waiting until the Friday before our "suppose" closing date 16 April to say that we couldn't close because of the water and then went on to tell us that he didn't get the results until the that friday before which is now falsehood #2 since we have time date stamped e-mails showing they got the results on the 24th of March as we did and never said it was an issue since the reason for the water problems wasn't requirement but was an issue my husband and I wanted to resolve after move in so this pushed our close date back a week which cost me $1050 in charges for the movers to hang on to our house hold goods. The 3rd falsehood which he shared our private closing information with my "son in law" via text message. Granted they had done business in the past my son in law was in no way shape or form part of my loan, loan agreement or closing and betraying our trust and confidence is the most egregious part of this entire process. He was rude when I brought it to his attention and I will NEVER, EVER do business with him or your company again. For the reasons I've outlined above I don't understand how Veteran's United would have someone like this in your employ. HORRIBLE PERSON to represent your company!
