My wife and I would recommend buying a home through Veterans United to any of our many Veteran friends. The entire Veterans United team worked hard to ensure we were well informed of all required documents every step of the way. I was assigned a local realtor who has experience working with Veterans like us. One of the best tools we had available to us was the ability to upload our required documents into the Veterans United Website. All the documents are tracked and accessible. The team reviewed and processed the docs as fast as we could upload them, and ensured that everything was properly filled in. The website informed us each time we hit a milestone in our homebuying journey.During our final walkthrough of our dream home, we were surprised to find that Veterans United has sent us a nice personalized gift as a way to congratulate us on our new home purchase.I would do business with Veteran United again.

We highly recommend Veterans United Home Loans, we learned alot about VA loans versus Conventional loans, they took the time to explain the difference. From the very first call Christopher seemed experienced and willing to work with us on our loan providing information that would help us expedite our loan. He told us documents we would need as well as where we could find them online (or if we would need to go to the office to pick up the document the same day)Over all the entire experience was less stressful than I had thought, we are very happy we choose Veterans United Home Loans (also happy that Christopher was available that day).Excellent Customer Service!Buying our new home was easier and less stressful than selling our home.

This is the second loan I have done with Veterans United. The process is just easy. Everything is online so nothing gets lost in email or fax. This put the process mostly in the borrows hands as to how fast the process gets completed.

if your looking for a company to do your mortgage, I highly recommend VA loads. Everyone I worked with was extremely helpful from the beginning to the end. Their personal load officers go the extra mile. Now of days that is a big deal and hard to come by.

I am a United States Marine Corps veteran and was finally ready to stop paying rent and starting paying towards something that would end up being MINE! I went on the website and got matched with Durell. from the moment we spoke, it was an easy process. As soon as I got the email that I needed to upload documents , I would submit them and the process would continue to move forward. There was NEVER a moment that I was left out, confused, nothing. Once the process moved on further, I got matched with Beth, who handled the money side of things and she was great as well. At one point, I was reading reviews online and I got upset because I read reviews of people getting denied home loans days before closing or closing getting pushed back due to issues. So I sent them an email kind of upset and making up scenarios in my head BUT they calmed me down and reassured me of why certain things CAN happen but not once did they make me feel like it was going to happen. I am kind of controlling so anything out of my control terrifies me. Nevertheless, nothing went wrong and I got my very first home. I am truly happy. My realtor, Phyllis was great as well. I didn't feel overwhelmed, pressured, or upset over anything. i would definitely recommend !

From start to finish, this was an absolutely outstanding experience! The preapproval process was quick and easy. The document submission process went without a hitch. We could not be happier with Veterans United. Bravo Zulu!!

If I could recommend anything for Veterans United it would be to take over the Nation with your continuous support, outstanding communication and great compassion you show towards your clients. From day one Veterans United educated me on what I needed to do with my credit in order to qualify for a home loan. I did exactly what they told me and now 2 years later I’m a proud homeowner. Thank You Amanda and a big thanks to your entire team. You guys ROCK!!!!

I’m grateful to Veterans United for allowing me to achieve my dream of becoming a homeowner. Friends and co workers were amazed at my interactions with my loan team and how efficient they were during the various stages of my home buying experience.

Our inspector was also best of Central PA. David Glick went up and beyond the call of duty. So keep him in your records for future buyers in our area.

We are so happy that we went with Veterans United! As first time home buyers, we had no idea where to even start. Our loan officer, Brandon Brown, answered every single question we had (and there was A LOT) and that goes for his whole team as well. From the first phone call we received from them, they were nothing but a pleasure to speak with and we know that we can still call them even after closing if we have any questions. We seriously cannot stress enough in words how truly appreciative we are of them for guiding us through all of it.

Loan application process was easy. Uploading documents was simple (although it can get annoying if the document you are sending doesn't immediately seem to fit the bill, they won't look too hard and just kick it back over and over again) Don't assume you are eligible for a VA loan. I would suggest getting your certificate of eligibility ahead of time. I submitted my DA Form 5016 and DD214 and Veterans United said I was eligible. However the VA deemed me not eligible because my points for this year hadn't been updated by HRC yet 9n the DA 5016. For your general info your DA 5016 (Retirement points statement) is not updated until 1 month after your anniversary date. Found that out the hard way and had to get a letter from my commander just days before closing. Also note, a VA creditable year in regards to the home loan is just 16 points (you get 15 just for being a member) so even if you missed some training if you got any points for that year it counts towards eligibility! Veterans United was easy to work with. I am away from my phone while at work and we were able to communicate mostly through email which was nice. Process was clear, questions were answered in a timely manner. All in all I would probably go through them in the future.

I truly believe if VHU took my concerns seriously and removed Chance from this process entirely instead of placating me and making Craig play messenger because Chance couldn't control himself, I would have had a better experience and have been more likely to recommend VHU to someone else. VHU chose to support Chance over the customer despite ample evidence. I truly wish I listened to my broker and went with a local vendor instead. VHU is just going to take my account and pimp it out/ sell it to Wells Fargo a week before my first payment anyway.
Response from Veterans United
David, it is important for us to understand your point of view and promote mutual understanding. Thank you for providing direct feedback and giving us an opportunity to review the events leading up to your closing. A member of our Client Advocate team is available to gather more information so that we may look to use your experience as a learning opportunity.

I recommend V.U. the process with smooth,no problem at all

From start to finish My loan team was on point. With Aimee at the frontline and Kristen coordinating every detail that we needed to have ready for closing the mission was a huge success. If all teams work as solid as my team did then there is no doubt that Veterans United can get you in your dream home.
