Overall experience was very good. Being able to submit online forms was very helpful. One suggestion would be to provide all items in "To-Do" checklist at very beginning of process. There were a few rounds of needing to go back to submit additional information, some of which could have been included in the initial list of items. Not a big inconvenience, just a suggestion.
From start to finish in the loan process, I was extremely impressed. Having worked with other lenders in the past (even during this loan process), I can tell you that Veterans United is definitely a cut above the rest! After all, I did end up going with Veterans United and thought the last lender was great. Sorry other lender, but you didn’t even come close!
They were very thoughtful and even surprised our daughter with gifts. :)

This was the smoothest mortgage process I have ever had. My only disappointment was that we had 84 days to prepare and much of the work didn’t get done until the last day, we missed my closing date and the underwriter didn’t find out we had unexpected flood insurance requirements until the last 24 hours.

Veterans United and their staff truly seem to want and try to do the best they can for their customers and I have always been pleased with their service. However, this last home loan was a bit more stressful and at times felt like the agents were too busy doing other things and not keeping up with communication and paperwork. The end result was great and what we wanted, but getting there was a bit stressful at times. Maybe their workloads are too much?
Veterans United are great to do business with. I bought and have also done a refi with them. I would highly recommend them!
