After years of working on my credit and finally getting to where I could qualify for a home loan, I was ghosted by another company but that was a blessing in disguise because that led me to Veterans United!! Here, I was treated like I actually mattered. Everyone was so polite and curious throughout the entire process and every team member would put in long hours as sometimes they'd call, and apologize for it, late in the evenings. But that just showed me they were putting in the work to help my family and I get our dream home! Veterans United was the right choice for me being a first time home buyer. I’m gonna continue to use them as my lender in the future.
The people were awesome! The “random” memos and signed letters are a turnoff. This is my third VA loan and the only time I’ve had to sign a memo about fencing touching the ground or prove I made a mortgage payment on a house I sold. By the end it felt more invasive than any other VA loan I’ve ever gotten...but they worked extra hard to help me with POAs when we had a sudden death in the family.
The process and communication has been a very pleasant experience. The stress alone of moving I never had to worry about anything from the lenders. Kris Carmichael’s team was on top of it from the start.
