

It took FOREVER to get this done! I even tried to speed up the process by saying I heard VA loans SUCK due to several home inspections and they said you just need a regular home inspection and a pest inspection. Then, weeks later we are told we need a water/well inspection. Set back #1 Then, set back #2 they questioned pest inspection to include termites. OF COURSE it included termites. That is a pest. Then, the well/water inspection was an extra cost on our behalf to come out a separate time & took days for results to come back. Then, set back #3 they questioned our bank account balance. Of course, we have a higher balance in our account - WE SOLD OUR CONDO! They asked about the balance on a Friday but did not ask for an email to state it was not a loan or gift until the following Wednesday. WHY wait 5 days to ask for that???Our entire process could have been completed 1 month prior IF the employees knew what the heck they were doing!!!! We were warned and we went with a VA loan any way because my husband served in the Army and we felt we may as well take advantage of it. Glad is over! and we are FINALLY in our home. What a nightmare and stressful experience! :(
