Great Service !!!

The experience I have had with VUHL has been great, relators have commented how good it is to work with them. Don't feel the same about Liberty, the closing company, we were told our check would be overnighted to us did not happen don't know where our funds are yet two days later. There has to be other closing companies to work with in Arkansas.

Everything from the beginning was made very easy.My loan team where right there with any questions i had.I could not ask for a better experience.

I received a very inaccurate and poor initial closing cost estimate. I was told several times that my initial closing cost estimate was high and the actual costs would be lower. When I received the initial closing disclosure (a week before closing), my closing cost had increased 35% ($2500). This put me in a very bad spot as I was finacially counting on the initial estimate having some accuracy. I also received a notice one week before closing, stating that my interest rate would expire and potentially increase two days before my closing date. Scott's team did not let me know that my interest rate would expire before the closing date even though they knew the closing date for months prior to me receiving this notice. I was being asked to sign a document stating that I accept the potential for an increased interest rate. When I told the transaction coordinator that I would not sign it unless they revised the date her response was "trust me it won't increase". I refused to sign it until I received a revision and her response was "I've never heard of them making revisions". I had to scramble for two days to try and close earlier but ended up just paying more money to maintain my interest rate. During the closing process I was also stuck making phone calls and on behalf of veterans united. I found out that they could not obtain insurance documents or title work for a couple of weeks because they were emailing incorrect email addresses and not making phone calls. Within 30 minutes and two phone calls I had all of the required paper work sent over to them. I believe that Veterans United pulled a bait and switch by increasing closing costs and attempting to increase my interest rate last minute. I am sure they get away with it when people are too sick and tired to fight back anymore. Having some veteran friends looking to buy homes I will advise them stay clear of veterans united.

Very informative and helpful when puttimg all needed documents together. Very easy to work with.

The process was easy. Everything went so smooth it was finished before i knew it.
