The home buying process was very simple and quick. If I did it all over again I’d still go with Veterans United.
Carl Thomas became impossible to get in contact with. He remained in constant contact with my realtor and would let her know that he was going to call me but never followed through. It seemed as if once I was under contract and the process was moving along, it was not important to work for me my business anymore. To give more context, he kept in constant contact while I was representing the country on a deployment in Israel/Palestinian war. After returning to the country and submitting all lender required documents he became unreachable by phone and would eventually respond via email. It was to the point that my lender was confused and did not understand why he was avoiding me. As a purchaser it is very important that you are valued, heard, and seen. I felt abandoned by him and when we finally spoke, he attempted to fast talk me in a sophisticated manner as if I were supposed to accept sub-par treatment. Prior to signing, I was able to speak with Katy for 28 mins and 30 secs for an explanation of the numbers on the final documents. Because of Carl, my overall experience was horrendous with the exception of Katy. To anyone reading this, understand that you're the one acquiring this significant amount debt and that EVERY entity involved is working YOU. Hold them accountable, check your numbers, and do not go to the next step in the process until you understand the present one!

Overall great experience. Only thing I would say hinder it was trying to understand the process. Some of the numbers I didn't understand but everyone tried to help. I really liked that attitude towards my family made us feel like we mattered in this process.
My whole team was super, above and beyond!!!! You should give them a raise!!!!!!

The team in a whole did an outstanding job and went the extra mile to ensure me and my family had the help we needed in our last minute pcs decision to purchase a home. They were always extremely nice, helpful and had answers to the questions we had asked.
