More information upfront on total closing cost (an average, or something) would have been nice, but overall it was a good experience.
Kyle Bakker is absolutely wonderful. His knowledge, work ethic, client care, efficiency and personality are superior. Give Mr. Bakker a double raise. This is one employee you should never lose
Everybody I worked with was excellent
I would recommend using a local representative. You would be able to get more of a personal experience and get to know a face. Also, the rate may be lower. In our state the rate is 3% which I didn't know until the day we were suppose to close because we were moving from out of state. Make sure to research all of your options.

Same as above.
After some initial confusion as to who would be our loan officer and finding that the verbal quote was much lower than the actual quote we enjoyed our experience. I would suggest not giving a verbal quote as it is disappointing when you find that you are not going to qualify for a larger amount.
We gave an overall score of 8 only because we felt a lack of cohesiveness between team members when it came to gathering our information and communication appeared laxed between team members at times. We will say that over all the hard work of the team did pull it together and our loan was processed in the time frame we requested. Each team member responded to emails/calls in a timely manner. Even in the confusion of it all they showed patience and understanding in regards to being first time buyers. We would recommend Veterans United Home Loans to future home buyers.
Everyone on the team was always courteous and professional. They were always available to ask questions and make me feel at ease. This was truly a. wonderful and stress free experience.
Yes, but no. VU is quick and close one a house in a 40 days which is amazing. But your rates are extremely high compared to other options.
My overall experience was not just a 10 it was much greater then that 100 plus

Joey Ortega and his team was outstanding! It was a pleasure doing business with them
This was my first VA home loan and veterans united made the process easier than I expected. From when I applied to closing was only a little over a month.
Jamie was a breath of fresh air in my lungs lol she did everything to make sure this process went well and i'm so grateful for her forever in my heart thank u
I am not sure who this company WFG is that VU is using but they are awful. I have done several refinances in the past and I have never had to police the debt payoffs as I have with this company. I have a check that I do not have to give to payoff the debt, then the company sends all the checks to me in the Debtors name, I have always in my years of refinancing had the funds wired to the debtors. I will never use them for myself let alone recommend to family and friends.
