Wendy was great I had inquired about becoming preapproved almost 6 months before we were ready to buy a home. The approval process helped to establish a budget for our first home. I don't know how people buy homes without a VA loan. Seems astonishing.

Veterans has been so comforting and so easy to work with and very timely with just about anything we were given.
The only issue I had was the misunderstanding of paying closing cost. I originally wanted to pay a portion of the closing cost with hopes of bringing down the APR from 4% to something lower. Shawn mentioned that I would be able to do that by just having the funds available in my account prior to closing. At the closing date I followed up with this and I was not able to bring the APR down. The papers would have to be drawn up again and the closing date pushed back. I opted to just keep the 4% but I would appreciate it more if there was more clarity, understanding, and trust in our discussions.
I'm not happy,im thankful that it's over but overall I was displeased with the miscommunication,sending same paperwork over and over again,the disrespect brought on to my agent,I am with the American Legion and I have very little good to say to my comrades
