As a first time home buyer, this is a nerve-racking process. I got frustrated but the team help make the transition to being a homeowner amazing.
Overall a positive experience from VU. The entire process as a whole was stressful as can be but VU at least was easy and straightforward. At times however I wish some information was a but more forthcoming such as fees for appraiser, and other such tasks like providing copies. At times felt like I was constantly copying and scanning things that could have been communicated more clearly. But overall that was small potatoes.

The website made everything extremely easy, then to have an amazing agent guide the way made this process almost stress free.
You need to change advertising of VA appraisal being so strict, because sellers refuse to deal with VA loans, and from our experience VA appraisal wasn't really thorough - just a glance and low resolution pictures in the report. Start advertising it differently and more homes will be available for veterans.
