The last minute our loan was reduced by 40K. The two men we were working with knew the circumstance the entire time and knew we had a second mortgage on the house. We were also told we had to clear the pest report before we could move forward so we out of pocketed 4k. Then when we went to close they had this down as paying for it, which I had already done.
