This loan was started by NLC. I found out about 30 days into the process how incompetent they were. I switched to Veterans Untied after about 60 days of stress. In 28 days Veterans United had us at closing.My hat is off to you. Thank you for your determination and confidence.Grand slam for my lending team!

Everyone that I dealt with was very professional, knowledgeable, and courteous. The loan process was quick and without any glitches.
It has always been a pleasure to work with our loan officer Rob Parham. He was with us every step of the way, always willing to answer questions and provide us with important information and feedback. He was always kind and sincere and very professional. He did his best to make our initial loan process and refinancing as smooth as possible.
The only discrepancy I have with Veteran's United would be the way in which the Energy savings option was presented. Although I elected to keep the option open during the initial pre-approval, the home buying process moved forward and the energy update was one of the last details reviewed by me the buyer. Exploring the option turned out to be a closing delay rather than a sensible upgrade to the home and future cost savings. How does the seller approve getting the work done if the process has not yet cleared the underwriter for the loan? Confusing and not made very clear until the possibility was dismissed in favor of closing on the home on schedule. In the least the energy savings would have offset the increase in the loan amount and would have been favorable in future appraisals. Overall I am extremely happy with the service and assistance I received from Jose and everyone involved in the process. I will be recommending VU to my son who is also a Veteran. I am very appreciative of how the team helped me position myself financially to be able to become a homeowner. Thanks to all of you and your hard work my wife and I are very grateful!
