I was working with another broker that had given up on me as far as being qualified enough to get a loan approval. I reached out to VU a week after going under contract and they got me approved to close on the original date, despite having only 3 weeks to complete the entire process. This was my first house hunting experience so it got pretty stressful. To me this is where VU made a difference. My loan officer Matt Istwan built a rapport with the seller and reassured him that I would still be able to close. He also kept me informed and told me exactly what I could expect through every step.

Overall good experience only real gripe was the experience of the underwriting which was back and forth for information. Some stuff as a first time home buyer I didn’t know what they were asking for and wasn’t communicated clearly.
