This loan process just about killed both of us AND our joy for the excitement of a new home. Underwriters repeatedly asked for same or similar documents OVER and OVER again right up until the last second of closing. They were late on everything.

I didn't feel like just another loan applicant throughout the entire process. The loan officer and his transaction coordinator made me feel like a person and helped me very much.

Everything was fine until the day before closing. We were informed we had to bring money to the closing we didn't have. Not much time to work on getting funds together, especially when it was a $0 down deal. Had to borrow money from parents Not Cool.

The entire loan process started out great, but when it started getting close to our closing date the communication began to fade and we ended up going a month passed our closing date partially due to the lender not communicating with the VA.
