Continually required more and more information and verification, finally required more down payment, all of this should have been known in the begining not after original closing date! We close 15 days late and that cost me penalties and extra charges.the constant requests for more information after we were told we had submitted everything over and over was rediculas!

Everything was exceptional except the underwriter. The underwriter had numerous requests which should have been consolidated not a stream of conscious.

Derek Russell's team is the best. They were on top of the process throughout and were always available for questions that we had no matter how small or big. When we called, they would always get back to us in a matter of minutes not hours.

Overall, the Veterans United loan process was smooth and functional. The only issue that I experienced along the way was somebody sending a salary confirmation fax to a general fax machine in my office that listed my actual salary on the fax cover page. I am unsure if anyone other than the intended recipient saw the fax, but having confidential information on a cover page is just very unprofessional.
The whole team was so helpful and always so quick to answer any questions we had. They always kept us up to date with where we were at in the loan process. Awesome customer service and an awesome company! Will definitely recommend to others.
