Their online portal did a fantastic job of cutting the paperwork into manageable sections that you completed as they became necessary, instead of asking for everything up front. The staff that worked on my loan were always polite, friendly, and professional when dealing with my questions, and never seemed upset or frustrated when I asked the same question 3 times.

I had a few issues with my credit the first time I called Veterans United and they referred me to the Lighthouse program who helped me get my credit not only to where it needed to be for minimum requirements but beyond it as well. Overall a wonderful experience and would heartily recommend VU for anyone I know that will be looking for a house.
The only issue I had was the underwriters addiing items last minute.
I wish I would have sought them out first instead of other disingenuous lenders.
