Our loan people did a great job. However, they found out that for a conventional loan, they were completely unprepared. We submitted paperwork and supporting documents in plenty of time but then at the last minute realized we needed an additional 5% down payment. Then the underwriter came back with seemingly knitpicky additional asks that should have been caught prior to it getting to underwriting.
