Everything went well until the ball was dropped at closing time due to a clerical error. Just wished the communication was a little better like a follow up text would have been nice to alert us when a document needed signed. We may have spotted the error sooner.
Steph was VERY attentive to anything we needed. It was our first home and she was awesome about keeping us updated throughout every step of the process and answering all of our many questions. Absolute pleasure.
I first contacted Veterans in mid February and I closed April 4th, 2017. I couldn't have asked for a better team to put my VA loan through. It was fast, they ALWAYS were concerned about keeping me informed. If something needed to be submitted, corrected or returned, I knew about it within minutes, and was able to do what was asked. This experience was one of the best I could have imagined about buying a house. I am so grateful I was able to have Deborah (Debbie) Rau and Glenn Steeley working on my loan. I couldn't asked for a better team. (If you want a loan and a great team, ask for them)
There was some choppiness in the final two weeks leading up to closing. It became very difficult to get a hold of anyone on my team, via any means. The final stages required a lot of negotiation between buyer and seller, and not being able to reach people was a serious roadblock at times.
The folks at VUHL we always helpful, respectful, expedient and knowledgeable. We have purchased many homes using a varied number of Real Estate Agents but VUHL has surpassed (by far) any of those individuals.
