Fantastic experience! What mattered most to my wife and I was having a team of professionals to help us through the homebuying process. We were impressed for the most part. I felt that the process went as fast as we wanted it to go and at no time did I feel like "the ball had been dropped" as there was always someone on the team to answer questions and/or to hold others accountable.

I have been working with VUHL for the past 5 to 7 years and more aggressively searching these past two years. Qualifying was not our issue. As I said the process qualifying hadnt been our issue. Our issue was finding something in the criteria of VUHL, Distance of Location, Affordability, Market availability and not being bullied out of an opportunity that could be reasonable. Well unreasonably it is far from where we'd love to be but near enough we wanted to pull this trigger and pursue the closing out on our Journey. Kudos To Mark Dischert, Chris Angelo who have for the most of our journey aiding in follow ups Erin Bell, Heather Risenhoover, Ally. safe landings now we're preparing to pick up our Keys T-Shirts from Lennar at Aviano from VUHL soon. Time, Lisa, Amanda, and the entire team assigned to our Loan were absolutely phenomenal. A lot of smaller companies wanted to compete by saying we’d feel “left behind” during the process and that communications would drop, but that was NOT the case with our Loan team. If anything. VU proved to not only bring the most honest and transparent team but also the most competitive rate. Every question we had (and there were many) was answered quickly, clearly, and patiently. Our family could not be happier with the team. Tim is personable and thorough, Lisa is professional with excellent follow up, and Amanda is bubbly and easy to talk to. The app is an excellent interface and made the entire process clean, efficient, and simple! We will recommend VU every time we’re asked!
The team was with me every step of the of the way and made everything feel a little less daunting.
My only beef was that the original preapproval stated conventional mortgage. Whenever things changed to fha, it made it difficult. All is good in the end though. Honestly, if I knew in advance it was fha, I would have probably stopped looking at the market altogether and simply concentrated on a rental, so its a blessing in disguise.

Although I didn't require all of the services offered, Veterans United can basically be a one stop shop for purchasing a home. They walked me through the process using a series of tasks to be completed and were easily available to answer any of my questions. Lance and his team are the best!

I have used Veterans United 4 times now and as always, they get the job done in the right way with no mistakes. Kendall Haun has been my loan officer all 4 times, he knows what needs to be done and that removes a lot of stress and worry from the financing process, His assistant Donna McDonald is always there to answer all your questions and move the process along. I recommend that you let Veterans United take care of all your home buying financial needs. I am glad that I called them years ago.
