I loved the great communication from the team. They ensured things got across the finish line. However, suggestion from the future. Broadcast your teams needs ASAP.. it may feel overwhelming for a customer to have 40 tasks at once, but it would allow them to see everything they need to get done to assist the team. I thought I had tell I got more time to get my house rented out. You didn’t give me much time to get those documents to you all. Once I had it contracted it was rented in 10ish days. If I would have know this day one of offer being accepted it could have better assisted the whole team.
My wife and I would like to convey (we learned that word from our real estate dealings, lol) our deepest and most heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of the Veteran's United Team!!!Our journey began with Smith Gaddy on May 23rd. This being our first home ever (yes, at our age...), we did not know what to do or expect. We were guided by you all every step of the way. Our concierge (Casie) got us connected and on track for this process. She also hooked us up with our realtor. Tyler (our loan officer) got involved immediately and worked on our preapproval. Every step was detailed and explained in ways we could understand. The patience, understanding, and commitment was/is so amazing. Cara kept us on track for the underwriter and Jimmy kept the ball rolling in the same efficient manner when Cara was not available. Alicia got our Homeowners insurance in line and patiently kept making necessary changes as we needed them. We successfully closed on July 25th, 2022!Tyler (our loan officer) has gone out of his way to make our dream come true. He helped us overcome obstacles which could have destroyed our dream from becoming a reality. We will never forget him or his team!We tell you all this so you can get an idea from the buyers/our perspective. You all never lost sight of why you are doing this.I am a Vietnam Veteran who has had a difficult trip through life. I never would have dreamed this possible. More importantly, my wife gets the one thing in this life that she has always dreamed of. Thank you for what you have done for us! Remember that you all hold the ability to fulfill a void in a veteran and his family's life. It makes a HUGE difference and again we will be forever grateful to you all. Thank you!!!

Steve was completely on top of everything super fast. Super efficient couldn’t have asked for a better loan officer. The whole team at Veterans United was amazing to work with the process was seamless, out of all of the several home loans I’ve had, this has been the easiest by far. We love our new home, but if we ever were to move again, I will use Veterans United again no problem.
