This being our first home ever (yes, at our age...), we did not know what to do or expect. We were guided by you all every step of the way. Our concierge (Casie) got us connected and on track for this process. She also hooked us up with our realtor. Tyler (our loan officer) got involved immediately and worked on our preapproval. Every step was detailed and explained in ways we could understand. The patience, understanding, and commitment was/is so amazing. Cara kept us on track for the underwriter and Jimmy kept the ball rolling in the same efficient manner when Cara was not available. Alicia got our Homeowners insurance in line and patiently kept making necessary changes as we needed them. We successfully closed on July 25th, 2022!Tyler (our loan officer) has gone out of his way to make our dream come true. He helped us overcome obstacles which could have destroyed our dream from becoming a reality. We will never forget him or his team!We tell you all this so you can get an idea from the buyers/our perspective. You all never lost sight of why you are doing this.I am a Vietnam Veteran who has had a difficult trip through life. I never would have dreamed this possible. The loan officer is a fucking asshole he fuck me over
I accidently started the loan process earlier than I intended to. My loan officer reached out very quickly after I signed up, and even though i was not ready to purchase a house, she didn't close my case, but instead got a few preliminarry thiungs out of the way and then very patiently waited for me to be in a position to purchase a home. The whole process was very smooth, communication was clear and quick, and the online portal was very helpful to use. Overall, I am not sure I could have had a better home buying experience, and for a first time home buyer it meant a lot to me how much my team was willing to work with me and help me through the entire home buying process. Would absolutely reccomend to anyone seeking a home loan.
I don’t know who Missy is. I think I worked with another Lender, but she got very upset with me because I definitely was going through a lot and as happens, And Real Estate, let my emotions escalate some situations I say that because she seemed to be very unhappy with me and told me I was rude. I do think you guys record everything bottom one is I never heard from her again. I brought you guys a Buyer or actually my client did but no communication afterward must’ve made her so upset she never wants to reach out to me, which means the communication from your company shows me you don’t no longer want to do business with me when you take a look at the fact that I’m working with Zillow and getting Buyers pardon me multiple Buyers every month not including my own personal business. I’d love to hear back from you guys so I can be a better real estate agent sorry I ruined your business or whatever is going on and wish you the best of luck in the future.

Very glad to have been assigned Stephen Erickson as my loan officer. This was my first time looking for a house and I had no idea what was going on so I reached out real early. I finally closed on it yesterday, but Stephen has been going above and beyond to help me over the last 7 months. Guided me through the whole process and then some. Very honest and again, just above and beyond. Now that I know a bit more about all the roles and steps, I'm just really appreciative of how much the whole VU team really helped me through this thing. I got a really good deal too, VU has a great app and gives extremely competitive rates for VA loans. Definitely will use them again if I ever move or anyone ask me for a recommendation. I'd also like to give a special thanks to Erin as she was also a pleasure to work with and I don't see a specific spot for that.
