We have bought four different homes from four different lending companies. This one by far was the worst to deal flat out lying and saying they hadn’t heard from someone when I’ve got an email traffic that they talked to her and had correspondence with them more than one. Giving us the final different things to do give us a list of give people a list of what they need to do on day one so that doesn’t seem like you’re jumping through hoop after hoop after hoop.

Everything went great with Cody. He answered all my questions in a timely manner and was always very responsive. The insurance person, I believe her name was Jennifer, was a different story. We had two separate phone calls scheduled and she missed both of them by at least 30 minutes. We ended up having to set up the insurance through emails.

Overall with this being our first time going through the process we are very impressed with the team we had! They work awesome together and it showed! My team would go to bat for me when it was needed! Thank you all for taking more time to address problems with our agent and go above and beyond making sure we were taken care of! VU Staff/Friends/Family/Random person reading this,HOME BUYING IS STRESSFUL! The process is hard, unforgiving, and quick. One moment you can be looking at a home and the next moment it's gone and pending to someone else because you wanted to "wait" or "think about it". Take action on the venues you like and ask questions to everyone you meet along the way. I didn't know much going into my homebuying process and had to learn as I go. The team I worked with helped me through it all and gave me the knowledge to feel secure in my decisions.
